So, here it is guys. My first ever "proper" review on behalf of !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! and Infiniti. I really hope you'll all take the time to support me and give this a read and a share by clicking on the link below!

Infiniti QX70 3.0d Review

!!! UNKNOWN CONTENT TYPE !!!

If you wondering how my week with the Infiniti went, well, it went great. Up until I had the car for the week I hadn't been able to travel much. I have a very bad back as you might know, and my Skoda (who's days are now numbered) just isn't suitable for getting me around. The Infiniti (along with it's height!) came at just the right time for me, and as you'll see in the review, we got some absolutely terrific shots. I told you Devon is beautiful!

I have to say it's also been great working with Infiniti during the organisation stage, they've been very helpful and very well organised and always happy to answer my questions. With it being my first review, I was a little nervous about writing it, but it's all done now and I'm pleased with what I've written. Hopefully potential buyers or just people curious about the car or the brand will now get a useful insight into it.

Many thanks once again guys, I hope you like the review. As I said before, any shares and stuff are much appreciated! Thanks for the support!

The real question is, in the realm of performance luxury crossovers (I can't believe that's a thing) can anyone even come close to touching Porsche?

I'm not sure anyone can. Sure, you've got AMGs, M, and Quattro vehicles with supercharged and turbocharged versions of their SUV offerings, but none of them are as precise in driving (as opposed to blunt, straight line speed) as the Porsche offerings like the Cayenne and Macan.

I'm really hoping I can review a Macan soon, but it's such a busy time for Porsche that I think I probably won't get a let in. Maybe my editor at drivingspirit.com can pull some strings! Would be good to compare the two models!

My wife has the FX50 and although I haven't driven the Porsche I do have to vouch for the FX50 as being an incredibly sporty SUV. The car handles so well while allowing you to have some fun. The FX50 is AWD but it never gets in the way and is very performance oriented. The FX50 also looks better than the Cayenne (for me at least) and having driven the car for 13 hours straight (only stopping for gas and grub) it is still so very comfortable. Sometimes I even enjoy driving it as much or more than my slightly modified E60 535xi.

Infiniti's philosophy is all about keeping the driver and the road in harmony, so I'm not surprised to hear the FX50 has a sporty ride too.

As you can see from the article I'm not sure that's always a good thing in an SUV. I like a comfort setting, but the region I live in is very harsh on suspensions and ride, and so it didn't do too bad. Just not quite enough.

The QX70 is a beautiful car, Infiniti do have nice designs... I love how it looked amongst my native scenery!

Devon makes everything look better, but judging from the - very nice, so well done! - pictures, I can't say I like the design. But it's difficult to judge the proportions from pictures alone.

And congrats for properly reviewing press cars! That's a great and enviable achievement.

Since I only started to write - about music - a few months ago, still need to learn a lot myself and haven't achieved anything like you yet, I'm not sure whether I can really critizise you. And it was your first review so take my oppinion with a pinch of salt.

You wrote everything I needed to know about the car. Your text was structured well, easy to read and your oppinion well-founded. So there is no problem. But...

I'm no Doug DeMuro so I will never be able to fire off great sentences and metaphors at will. Yet I at least try to give a text I write one special and/or funny line or idea to make it hopefully unique and memorable. Sometimes I try to contribute something personal too to seperate my texts from all the others out there. I'm not saying I always succed myself, but that's what I like to read in other texts anyway.

I have a very bad back as you might know, and my Skoda (who's days are now numbered) just isn't suitable for getting me around. The Infiniti (along with it's height!) came at just the right time for me

This - strangely - is what I will remember from all that you have written about the car, and that's what was missing for me a bit in your review. Give me more Jonny!

Sorry, wasn't online the past few days.

I don't mind, I'd like to help you, if I can. But I don't want to publish my email address here, so can you give me any contact information first?
